AUSTRALIAN ARIEL REGISTER ARCHIVES - MASTER INDEX OF TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT RECORDS

Notes: Click on underlined blue font hyperlinks to open files/folders. Magazines are in a folder that allows selection of issues in pdf format from a tabulated index, membership lists and the bike register are in Microsoft Works Data base format (except the alphabetic listing of former and current members that is a Microsoft Excel 97-2003 Workbook), while technical reports are either pdf format or Microsoft Word 97-2003. Microsoft Works 9 is needed to view membership data base files. Under the Incorporated Associations Act 2012, membership records are required to be retained for seven years, as are annual financial statements presented to members at the AGM (as submitted with the annual return to the Registrar General after acceptance by members), and also minutes of committee and general meetings. Club management records do not need to retained after 7 years, however a full listing of members, current and former, is kept in archives for historic purposes.

2. Technical Reports. Technical reports are contained in the Archives USB unless they exist as a html web page (none at present).

3. Membership Lists: - Alphabetic List of Former and Current members (Excel format usually updated when a change occurs), Full List (data base usually updated when a change occurs), and Current Members (data base usually updated monthly). Click on the underlined blue font to open up the list wanted for viewing/downloading.

9. Ariel Archives USB. Information previously only available on USB is now accessible by financial members via a password protected directory. Access codes to this directory are the same that appear on the back of a current membership card, which are changed on 1 January each year. Click here to access the USB directory.
